学院简介(INTRODUCTION
成都理工大学环境与土木工程学院是在原成都地质学院水文地质与工程地质系基础上逐渐发展而成的。
The College of Environment and Civil Engineering (CECE) in Chengdu University of Technology (CDUT) was developed from its predecessor — Dept. of Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology in Chengdu Institute of Geology.
水文地质与工程地质系始建于1956年。1993年原成都地质学院更名为成都理工学院,因学科发展需要,水文地质与工程地质系分成水文地质与工程地质系及工程地质与建筑工程系。1997年,为了适应高等教育的新发展,两系又合并组建了成都理工学院第一个二级学院-环境与土木工程学院。2001年底,三校合并组建成都理工大学,通过院系调整,原勘察与机电工程系以及应用化学系的部分专业并入环境与土木工程学院。
The Dept. of Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology was founded in 1956. In 1993, the Chengdu Institute of Geology changed its name to Chengdu Institute of Technology. Given the developing needs of disciplines, the Dept. of Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology has evolved into the Dept. of Engineering Geology and Dept. of Architectural Engineering. And in 1997, in meeting the requirements of the higher education development, the two departments merged into the very first sub-institute in Chengdu Institute of Technology — The College of Environment and Civil Engineering. At the end of 2001, Chengdu Institute of Technology announced to merge with the other two institutes so that the current Chengdu University of Technology was founded. After a series of rearrangements of departments and disciplines, the former Dept. of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and Survey and part of the Dept. of Applied Chemistry also merged into the CECE.
经过60余年的发展,学院现有5个教学系、1个国家重点实验室、1个国家级实验教学示范中心、1个国家级虚拟仿真实验教学中心、1个国家级工程实践教育中心、1个综合实验室。
After more than 60 years of developments, the CECE now has five teaching departments, one state key laboratory, one national demonstration center of experiments and teaching, one national simulation center of experiments and teaching, one national center of engineering practice and education, plus one synthetic labs.
学院目前在校学生3168人,其中本科生2247人,研究生921人(含硕士、博士)。设有地质工程、土木工程、地下水科学与工程、工程管理和工程力学5个本科专业;地质资源与地质工程、土木工程2个博士后科研流动站;地质资源与地质工程、土木工程2个一级学科博士学位授权点;还有地质工程、建筑与土木工程、工程管理3个硕士专业学位授权点。其中,地质工程为国家重点学科;岩土工程为部省级重点学科;地质工程、土木工程专业为国家级特色专业(已两次通过教育部工程教育专业认证)。学院已形成在国内有较大影响的“地质+土木”工程学科群。
As of now, the CECE has enrolled 3168 students, including 2247 undergraduates, 921 graduates (MS, Ph.D.). It consists of five undergraduate programs – Geological Engineering, Civil Engineering, Ground Water Science and Engineering, Engineering Management, and Engineering Mechanics. Meanwhile, the CECE offers 2 post-doc research center, 2 first-level-discipline Ph.D. degree authorization (Geological Resources and Geological Engineering, Civil Engineering), 3 Professional master’s degree authorization(Geological Engineering, Architecture and Civil Engineering, Engineering Management).
Of all these, Geological Engineering is the national level key discipline, Geotechnical Engineering and Environmental Engineering are ministry level key disciplines. Specifically, Geological Engineering and Civil Engineering have been certificated as national level featured disciplines by China Ministry of Education; and Environmental Engineering has been certificated as provincial level featured discipline. The CECE has already established a Geological-Civil group which has wide impacts across the country. 
学院现有教职工169人,146名教师及实验室教学人员中,有博士生导师16人、教授(含研究员)35人、副教授(含副研及高工)46人、讲师(含助研及工程师)64人,具有博士学位的人数占教师总数的74%以上。已建成一支老、中、青有机结合,职称、年龄、学历合理的优秀师资队伍。形成了“地质工程”国家级教学团队、“岩土工程”省级教学团队、教育部科技创新团队、国家自然科学基金委创新研究群体等10个教学与科研团队。
Currently, there are 169 faculty members, of whom 74% possessed a doctoral degree, including 35 professors, 46 associate professors, and 64 lecturers. Of all these fellows, 16 are doctoral supervisors. The CECE is a diversified but firmly integrated outstanding teaching and research group consisting of a sound combination of age, degree and academic titles. 11 sub-groups constitute this excellent group — the Geological Engineering Teaching Group (national level), Geotechnical Engineering Teaching Group (provincial level), The Innovative Research Group of NSFC, and Innovative Research Group of the Ministry of Education, etc.
学院以国家重点实验室、国家重点学科、国家级实验教学中心等高水平平台为依托,教学与科研均取得了丰硕成果。已为国家培养本科生1.5万余名、研究生2400余名、博士生200余名,这些高层次人才为国家建设和发展做出了重要贡献。学院获得国家教学成果二等奖2项,省部级教学成果奖数十项,“工程地质分析原理”于2004年被评为国家级精品课程。近十余年以来,独立单位获得国家科技进步一等奖2项,国家科技进步二等奖2项,省部级科技成果奖数十项;出版专著30余部,发表SCI、EI检索论文700余篇;获得授权专利100余项,软件著作权30项。
Based on advanced platforms such as state key laboratory, national key disciplines, national centers of experiments and teaching, etc., the CECE has achieved great achievements in both teaching and research. The CECE has cultivated over 15,000 undergraduates, 3100 MS graduates, and 400 Ph.D. graduates, who have been continuously making significant contributions to the country’s construction and development. Specifically, Analytical Mechanisms of Engineering Geology, a prestigious course representing years of experience and achievement, was listed as the National Excellent Course in 2004. Over the past ten years, the CECE has received two First Prizes of the National Scientific and Technological Progress Awards, two Second Prize of the National Scientific and Technological Progress Awards, and dozens of provincial level science and technology achievement awards. Also, over 30 books, 700 SCI & EI indexed papers, 100 patents, and 30 sorts of software have been published or patented for the past decades.
目前,学院已成为成都理工大学科研和教学的重要支撑单位,“环工人”正在国家“双一流”建设蓝图指引下,按照学院“十三五”规划阔步前进。
Nowadays, the CECE plays a prominent role in both research and teaching of Chengdu University of Technology (CDUT). The CECE faculty members, under the leading of the national ‘Double Tops’ and the institutional ‘13th Five-year’ guidelines, are marching forward with big strides.
